Lane closures
The left lane for Southbound traffic on Janabiyah Highway (Janabiyah flyover) will remain closed for installing electrical cables, said the Ministry of Works.
One lane will remain open for traffic movement. The closure is effective starting 5:00 am today until Sunday 5:00 am.
Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Highway
Separately, the Ministry said resurfacing works on Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Highway necessitate the closure of one and two lanes on stages for southbound traffic heading to Hamad Town.
The closure will be effective starting today for one month on two stages. Stage 1: from 11:00 pm to 05:00 am every night except weekends. Stage 2: Fridays from 12:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Sh. Salman Highway at Isa Town
Restructuring works on Sh. Salman Highway at Isa Town near Salmabad junction also necessitates the closure of slow lane for northbound traffic leading to Manama. Two lanes will remain open for traffic movement.
The closure effective yesterday at 11:00 pm will continue until tomorrow at 05:00 am.
