BKS role in forging bond within community hailed

The man, who was at the helms of affairs at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS), is satisfied as “he could successfully fulfil his responsibilities as the general secretary of the society”.

M P Raghu, BKS outgoing general secretary, said the success of BKS events and programmes was also the direct result of team work. “I am thankful to BKS President P V Radhakrishna Pillai, executive committee members and all BKS members for their support.

All success we had could be attributed to team work.” Mr Raghu, presently General Manager of Modern Art Studio, joined BKS in 1986. He is a wellknown community member and has been active in the social circles of the Kingdom.

The 68-year-old music and arts enthusiast, who is also a specialised percussionist, hails from Palakkad district in the Indian state of Kerala. His family includes wife Santha, sons Anoop and Prashob and daughter-in-law Praseetha.
