SEA, Alba set to enhance ties
President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Dr Abdulhussain Mirza, received a delegation from Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), comprising Acting CEO, Ali Al Baqali, Chief Power Officer, Amin Sultan, and Safety, Health and Environment Director, Mohamed Khalil.
Dr Mirza welcomed the delegation, and congratulated them on the inauguration of Alba’s Line 6 Expansion Project, hailing the historic exploit that adds to Bahrain’s industrial achievements. He stressed that the project reflects Bahrain’s economic progress during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s prosperous era, and embodies the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
It is also the fruitful outcome of the dedicated efforts of Alba’s team work, supervised by Board of Directors Chairman, Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, and led Deputy CEO, Ali Al Baqali, he said. The two sides discussed areas of co-operation between SEA and Alba to improve the efficiency of energy consumption in Alba’s facilities. Alba’s Acting CEO lauded Dr Mirza’s keenness to ensure the complementarity of the efforts of the industrial and sustainable energy sectors in the kingdom, highlighting his key contributions to the industrial sector in Bahrain.
He expressed readiness to cooperate with SEA’s work team to implement the outcomes of the meeting.
