‘Collective efforts vital for Kingdom’s development’

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday received Fawzia Zainal, Council of Representatives Speaker, and Ali Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, Sameer Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at HRH’s majlis in Gudaiybia Palace.  

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince issued directives reactivating the joint committee between the Council of Representatives, the Shura Council and the Government in order to promote greater cohesion that will help secure further tangible results.

On this note, HRH the Crown Prince noted that the collective efforts of Team Bahrain are pivotal to achieving HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s development aspirations. HRH the Crown Prince added that Bahrain will continue to implement initiatives that deliver on the aspirations of Bahraini citizens and create opportunities, which will contribute to the Kingdom’s sustainable development.

In this regard, HRH the Crown Prince noted that the contribution made by young people towards enhancing Bahrain’s vital economic sectors is prominent in promoting the Kingdom’s economic development.

For their part, the Council of Representatives Speaker, the Shura Council Chairman and the Chairman of the BCCI expressed their gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince for supporting enhanced co-operation between the Executive and Legislative branches.

The meeting was also attended by Jawad Alarrayedh, Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and a number of senior officials.
