Shura President hails HRH Crown Prince’s directives
Shura Council President Ali Al Saleh hailed the directives which were issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, instructing the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) to refrain from completing an agreement to join the Bahrain Credit Reference Bureau (Benefit), which manages clients’ credit information, until further studies are completed to ensure citizens’ interests are protected.
He commended the measure which was taken the Cabinet, during its weekly meeting which was chaired by HRH the Crown Prince, scrapping 200 services which are provided by 11 government departments, thus bringing the overall number of services whose levies were abrogated in 2019 to 400.
He stressed the importance of the measures which, he said, support the visions and royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to assess citizens’ needs, improve their living standards and pursue strenuous efforts to bolster development momentum in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Mr Al Saleh also lauded the dedicated efforts exerted by the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister, supported by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme ComMr Al Saleh mander and First Deputy Premier.
