Mr Al Saleh asserted that HRH the Crown Prince’s keenness to meet the members of the Legislative Branch to be informed about their visions on various issues is appreciated and welcomed by everybody, given its role in enhancing the legislative work, and developing the government’s performance in various sectors.
This came as HRH the Crown Prince met here today the members of the Legislative Branch and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). Mr Al Saleh said that the Shura Council is looking forward to more cooperation with the government to achieve national interests, strengthen coordination to turn challenges into opportunities to develop joint constructive action, as well as build on the kingdom’s landmark achievements in various fields and optimise them.
The Shura Chairman pointed out that the continuity of meetings between the Legislative and Executive branches will contribute to formulating ideas and visions that support the comprehensive development march in the kingdom, noting that every achievement will be attained through solidarity and joint cooperation.
Mr Al Saleh stressed that the national duty requires everybody to assume their national responsibilities, especially amid the current circumstances and multiple challenges that the region is going through, in order to strengthen national cohesion and social fabric, as well as the Bahraini people’s inherent values of tolerance, peace, co-existence and loyalty to the homeland and to HM the King.
