Bahraini medical team performs three successful MVr surgeries
Three patients have undergone successful Mitral valve repair (MVr) surgeries at the Mohammed Bin Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre,
A Bahraini medical team performed the successfully MVr operations within two days, using the new MitraClip catheter technique for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The medical team which performed the MVr included Dr. Shirin Mubarak Al-Shaikh, Dr. Mohammed Amine and Dr. Siham Ali.
Dr. Abdelwahab Al-Khalifa also took part in the surgeries, along with the anesthesia team led by Centre Chairman Dr. Risan Al-Badran and his deputy Brigadier Dr. Fouad Abdulqader.
