Schools to enrol more students

Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi announced the ministry would raise the capacity of schools and provide more seats for students.
Programmes to develop performance of schools will be kept in mind during the construction of ten new schools in various districts.
The minister pointed out the ministry is currently building five new academic buildings in Nitaqat Elementary School for Girls, West Riffa Primary School for Girls, Tubli Primary for Boys, Badie Primary for Boys, and Al Salam Primary School for Girls. Also, the ministry will open three new schools - Wadi Al Sail Elementary school for Girls, Hamad Town Primary School for Boys, and Busaiteen Intermediate Girls School – this year.
This announcement came during a field visit by the minister to a number of public schools, meeting a number of administrative members. During the visit, he was briefed on the progress of work required in these schools in terms of equipment and basic needs for the situation.
