Waft of soulful Arab music to embrace Eid Al Adha

Manama

As Eid Al Adha is just round the corner, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) has planned an array of joyful events, to be held in the Cultural Hall from September 25 to 28 at 8pm.

BACA President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa said the Kingdom would welcome this year’s Eid with authentic Bahraini and Arab music.

She noted BACA is keen to reach out to all the residents of the Kingdom, and also the visitors from other countries to display Arab culture and art to maximum people.

First day of the event will be marked with a soulful musical performance by Mohammed bin Faris music band.

A band called Harmony from Ta’a Al Shabab Festival will perform on the second day, a concert titled ‘We Met,’ along with artists Ahmed Jumairi and Mohammed Yousif.

Apart from them, the Cultural Hall will receive Lebanese singer Ghada  Shbeir on September 27, accompanied by pianist Elie Hardan. The concert will include a number of Lebanese songs.

Jordanian artist Oraib Hamdan, the man with the best collection of Arabic songs, is set to perform on the concluding day.
