AUB announces $2 million Grand prize for 2020

Ahli United Bank (AUB) yesterday announced a new MyHassad 2020 scheme, while also naming Margaret Kamal Fahmi Guirgis as the winner of its $1 million with MyHassad 2019. AUB said, starting February 2020, the new MyHassad programme will feature several enhancements.

Firstly, the winners will now exclusively be from Bahrain. Moreover, the annual prize has been doubled to $2m from $1m. Quarterly prizes have been increased to $1m, each while retaining an Eid al Adha prize worth $500,000. Besides, the 21 weekly prizes worth $1000 each take the overall winners for the year to over 1,000. Margaret Kamal Fahmi Guirgis, the winner of the $1 million in MyHassad 2019, said, “AUB has enabled the dreams of many other people, like me and has truly changed the lives of a lot of people.” AUB’s Deputy Group CEO Retail Banking, Suvrat Saigal, said, “We incorporated our customers’ feedback and are delighted to announce this year’s scheme.

Prize winners will be exclusively AUB Bahrain customers. We have huge annual, quarterly, and Eid Al Adha prizes, and have increased the chances of winning by also increasing the number of weekly prizes.” Every 50BD held in a MyHassad account for 15 days allows customers to enter the MyHassad draws for a chance to win valuable prizes, including the $2 million jackpot.
