Flames destroy classroom at Hidd school
A classroom at a public school in Muharraq Governorate was completely destroyed following a fire breakout yesterday. Public Relations and Information Directorate within the Education Ministry explained in a press statement yesterday that the fire accident occurred in the early morning before the school gates were opened to receive students.
According to the directorate, no injuries were reported after the incident at Hidd Primary Boys’ School. “No injuries were reported and the incident was reported to the Civil Defence Directorate, which swiftly doused the fire,” the statement read. No further details on the causes of the fire were available. The Ministry of Education has launched a probe into the incident.
