Bahrain ‘free of coronavirus’
The Ministry of Health yesterday declared the Kingdom free of the novel coronavirus. It refuted the allegations, which were published in a local newspaper claiming two students who returned from the city of Wuhan, China, had been diagnosed with the virus. In a statement issued last night, the ministry urged the public to seek accurate information from official sources. The ministry said that it is monitoring the developments of the disease, adding that it has taken preventive measures, including screening at entry border points. The ministry has also allocated hotline 17246769 round the clock to reply to the queries of citizens and residents regarding the novel coronavirus.
