CSB issues Sports Day circular

Civil Service Bureau (CSB) President, Ahmed Al Zayed, yesterday issued CSB instruction 1/2020, explaining the resolution of the Cabinet mentioning Tuesday, February 11, as a half workday for all ministries, institutions and state departments, marking the National Sports Day 2020.
Mr Al Zayed said that all ministries and state departments, subject to CSB Law 48/2010, shall develop sports programmes for their staff between 11:00 am and 02:00 pm, and to contact the Bahrain Olympic Committee in this regard.
Government departments shall also take the necessary procedures to ensure the normal flow of work so as not to affect the services provided to the public.
