SCW success march lauded
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace yesterday Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), who introduced to him members of SCW in its seventh work session.
HM the King lauded the remarkable achievements of Bahraini women, praising the honourable march of pioneers of national work who contributed to the growth of their nation and the upbringing of successive generations.
HM the King commended the confident and fast-paced strides made by Bahraini women, stressing the influential role of SCW in supporting them since its establishment.
The King also stressed the clear vision of the council in assuming its specialties based on national values, the constitutional principles and a strong conviction that Bahraini women are an essential partner in building the Bahraini state and protecting its national texture. HM the King emphasised the key role of Bahraini women in national development, bringing up future generations and caring for their families.
His Majesty affirmed support to them, commending their capabilities and competence which earned them an advanced status. The King also praised contribution of SCW members in enhancing women’s role in the Bahraini society.
His Majesty also hailed the tremendous efforts of HRH Princess Sabeeka in continuously improving the council’s performance and highlighting the great progress of Bahraini women, the Kingdom’s civilised experience in this respect and the effect of those accomplishments on Bahrain’s comprehensive development march.
