Labour Minister inaugurates Entrepreneurship Training Centre
Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan inaugurated today the Entrepreneurship Training Centre at Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The opening ceremony was attended by honorary President of Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Society (BSMEs) Farooq Yusef Al Moayed, Chief Executive of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi, senior officials from the Labour Ministry and interested people.
The Entrepreneurship Training Centre held recently, in cooperation with the Labour Ministry induction meetings for the programme to a number of jobseekers wishing to enter the entrepreneurship field. A total of 50 Bahraini jobseekers registered with the Labour and Social Development Ministry will be trained to become owners of entrepreneurial projects as an alternative option to employment.
The Training programme will be held in cooperation with Tamkeen and will focus on the basics of entrepreneurship, including operational, marketing and developmental skills.
