The Ministry of Health: Two new cases were registered in quarantine, bringing the total number to 49

The Ministry of Health announced today the detection of two new cases of Coronavirus (Covid 19) for a Bahraini citizen and a Saudi citizen, bringing the total number of those infected with Corona Virus to 49.
The ministry explained that the two new cases had arrived through indirect flights from Iran through Bahrain International Airport and all necessary analyzes were made for them in the hall designated at the airport to examine the arrivals from the affected countries, and they were placed in a precautionary quarantine according to the procedures used to quarantine arrivals from countries Infected for a period of 14 days, and after the appearance of symptoms of suspected infection with the virus, laboratory tests were performed for them that confirmed their infection with the virus, as they were transferred immediately to one of the centers for isolation and treatment while they are in a stable health condition.
The Ministry noted that coordination is ongoing and ongoing with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to combat the spread of the Corona virus (Covid 19), and the Ministry of Health appreciated the support of the siblings and their historical stances with the Kingdom of Bahrain, adding that the strict and continuous examination procedures to protect citizens and residents.
The ministry confirmed that it had conducted laboratory tests for 2,274 people and the results showed the safety of 2,255 people from the Coronavirus, explaining that 47 of the total number of 49 infected people, their health status does not currently require any types of medication, while only two receive the necessary medicines for treatment.
The Ministry of Health noted that it continues to collect samples for citizens returning from Iran during the month of February before Iran announced the outbreak of the virus in its cities, through mobile screening units equipped according to the approved medical standards by conducting the necessary tests for them in their areas of residence by a specialized medical team by taking the sample to ensure their safety and not Infection with the virus, and the Ministry confirmed that citizens who are being examined are paid a 14-day paid medical leave in addition to all educational instructions and instructions.
