Ministry of Works: Completion of 83% of the work on a sewerage network development project on Al Nakheel Street

Eng. Asma Jassem Murad, Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitation at the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning, stated that the work of the sewage network development project on Al Nakheel Street is in its final stages, with a completion rate of 83%, indicating that the project falls within the endeavors The Ministry to develop infrastructure services, make improvements in sanitation services, and increase the network capacity.

She stated that the project includes the development of two pumping stations and the construction of a main transmission line with a length of 1,086 meters and the construction of 33 inspection rooms to serve the complexes (502, 504 and 506), in order to connect housing projects spanning Al Nakheel Street.

She affirmed the ministry’s keenness to follow up on all the projects it is implementing, including projects to develop sanitation networks in order to meet the needs and aspirations of citizens and residents in various regions of the Kingdom and provide them with the best services.

The ministry explained that the project was awarded by the Bidding and Bidding Council to Abdul Hadi Al-Amu Contracting Company, at a cost of 651,850 dinars.

The Ministry called on citizens and residents of the regions to cooperate and adhere to the warning warning signs and to follow the traffic diversions on the site during the project implementation period.
