The Ministry of Health: The closure of one of the treatment units in the Salmaniya Medical Hospital as a precaution

The Ministry of Health would like to emphasize that the health and safety of patients and medical personnel is a top priority to ensure the health and safety of all, and the Ministry explains that one of the treatment units at Salmaniya Medical Hospital has been closed as a precaution after the results of the laboratory examination of a trained female doctor She was in contact with one of the existing cases, which is her mother, who came from abroad, with HIV (Covid 19).

 
The Ministry indicated that the unit had been completely sterilized and disinfected, and all arrangements had been finalized to resume the work of the unit tomorrow, with other medical teams.
 
The Ministry of Health confirms that it has transported the trained doctor to the isolation and treatment center, to receive treatment and necessary care under the supervision of specialized medical staff in one of the centers for isolation and treatment, which is carried out according to the best international standards as recommended by the World Health Organization.
 
The Ministry stated that it had taken all precautionary measures and preventive measures by examining all those involved in the trained doctor, and examining all doctors and nurses in contact with it in the therapeutic unit, where the results showed their safety and freedom from Corona virus (Covid 19), and the Ministry began applying all preventive measures and measures to all those involved with staying In a home quarantine as a precaution and give them a 14-day paid vacation.
