16 tenders for works affairs were awarded and awarded last February

Eng. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat, Undersecretary for Works Affairs, Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs, and Urban Planning, stated that last February witnessed the launching and award of a number of projects in each of the roads, sanitation and construction and maintenance projects, where 8 tenders were awarded from The Tenders and Bids Board accepted a total value of 6,722,261 dinars (six million seven hundred twenty-two thousand and sixty-one dinars), while 8 tenders were presented with an estimated value of 44,944,000 dinars (forty-four million nine hundred and forty four thousand dinars).

The Undersecretary for Works Affairs emphasized that the Ministry seeks, through these development projects, to meet the needs of citizens in the first place, and keep pace with the urban expansion witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in line with national priorities and achieve sustainability and encourage investment for the economic renaissance in line with the directives of the rational leadership and the happiness of the minister and in a manner consistent with Bahrain Vision 2030.
