HM King receives King Hamad Global Centre's board chairman

BAHRAIN

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received, at the Al-Safriya Palace today, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence, Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa introduced to HM the King Soumaya Hussein Hassan Meer following her appointment as a Secretary-General of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence as per a Royal Order.

HM King Hamad congratulated Soumaya Meer, and wished her every success in assuming her noble national mission, expressing pride in the Bahraini competencies, and their ability to achieve success and distinction in various fields, as well as contribute effectively to enhancing the kingdom’s progress.

HM the King lauded the pivotal achievements and good initiatives of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence since its establishment, appreciating the efforts exerted by its Chairman and members to promote its humanitarian mission.

HM King Hamad confirmed support for all the initiatives launched by the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence, being a pioneering civilisational landmark that reflects the kingdom’s deep-rooted history, which is replete with the values of tolerance, peace and religious freedom.

The Secretary-General of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence asserted that HM the King’s good deeds and achievements covered all fields in Bahrain, especially women, noting that HM King Hamad has paved the way for Bahraini women to reach the highest posts across various leadership positions.
