Bahrain is working collaboratively to introduce an economic package to provide the private sector with the necessary liquidity to deal with the effects of COVID-19 and maintain sustainable growth, said His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
This came as the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister was holding a meeting with senior officials and members of the Council of Representatives and Shura Council, at Gudaibiya Palace, on the virus spread.
HRH CP said the stringent preventive measures adopted by the Kingdom are yielding positive results, as it also ensures that the approach is flexible enough, should circumstances change.
His Royal Highness went on to note that this approach has led to the Kingdom’s recognition as a model for containing the spread of COVID-19. The Crown Prince underlined the early action Bahrain has taken, under the leadership of HM King Hamad, noting that all precautionary measures are underpinned by the active engagement of citizens and residents.
Furthermore, HRH the Crown Prince pointed out that progress to curb the spread of COVID-19 owes a great deal to the strong cooperation between the Legislative Authority and Executive Authority.
For their part, the attendees expressed their appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince for supporting precautionary measures that safeguard the health and well-being of citizens and residents.
