Inauguration of the concrete mixture material design service

MANAMA

Within the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning keenness to continue developing its electronic services to keep pace with the technological development in the e-government programs and to improve the performance of its services, a new electronic service has been launched which is the application mechanism to serve the design of the concrete mix material.

The service that was launched is a continuation of a continuous series of electronic services provided by the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning for citizens and residents to upgrade the level of those services and facilitate the procedures followed in a short time and effort so that the total electronic services for the “works” sector becomes thirteen electronic services.

In line with the increased awareness and dependence on electronic services, the Ministry of Works has added this service in order to simplify procedures and increase the speed of completing transactions, in addition to the possibility of following up on applications submitted, in proportion to the requirements of citizens and residents.

This service belongs to the Materials Engineering Department, which is responsible for ensuring the quality of building materials used in government projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including buildings, construction, roads, and infrastructure. From this standpoint, the administration ensures the supervision of all designs of concrete mixture materials.

With this, the concrete mixer provider can deal with this electronic service by applying for a certificate of concrete mix design issued by the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning, as this service includes submitting, investigating and following up the status of the request using the password and e-mail of the company.
