Strengthening cooperation with food dealers to continue providing basic commodities for a period of no less than 6 months

In implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, held an expanded meeting with members of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives of the major food companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain. To check on the developments of food stocks and to stress the importance of their continuous availability according to the data of the global situation of Corona Virus (Covid 19).
 
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the need for cooperation and coordination between all parties concerned and uniting efforts to ensure the continuity of the wheel of economic development in the Kingdom of Bahrain in addition to working to provide sufficient food stocks for a period of not less than six months.
 
The Minister stressed the keenness of the esteemed government and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism to put all mechanisms and measures in place to prevent any shortage in the local market and work in an integrated manner with all parties concerned with the progress of this process and work to contain any repercussions of this global challenge naturally and smoothly, valuing and appreciating all national efforts Made by the relevant authorities working for Bahrain.
