Bahrain records youngest coronavirus cases
Bahrain has recorded its youngest cases of coronavirus in the country. According to the Ministry of Health website, an eight-year-old Bahraini girl contracted the virus after visiting an eye clinic and then transmitted the infection to six other people, including a four-year-old boy.
The five others who were infected were all also Bahrainis, two of them men aged 75 and 27, while three were women aged 50, 28 and 25. Each of them tested positive as a contact of the eight-year-old. As of yesterday, the total number of active cases has reached 184. Of these, 180 are stable and four are critical. The total number of individuals tested was 20,901.
