New details emerged yesterday on two people of Spanish nationality who have been infected by the coronavirus in Bahrain. According to the new details, they were examined at Bahrain International Airport on March 18 after arriving from Spain.

They were then moved to a hotel located in the Seef area for self-quarantine before the results of the examination were issued. The results later came out positive that they had been infected with the coronavirus. The hotel was immediately sterilised and disinfected, while no further cases were recorded due to their contact.

Both Spaniards are male, with one aged 32 and the other 43.
