MPs submit proposal for private sector employees to work from home

Employees in the private sector will need to work from home if a recently submitted proposal is approved. The proposal was submitted by MP Ghazi Al Rahma, who said that it aims to supplement the great efforts by health authorities in fighting the coronavirus. Parliamentarians Muhammad Al Sisi, Hamad Al Kooheji, Ali Al Nuaimi and Fatima Al Qatari are the authors of the proposal.
The MPs said that among those who work in the private sector are older people, people with chronic conditions and a more vulnerable population. They said that remote work will help reduce spreading the disease to them.
