Gulf Air cancels flight from Muscat for safety reasons

Gulf Air announced cancelling its flights scheduled from Muscat, Oman over safety concerns. The airline said its decision was based on the finding that a large number of registered passengers, without consideration of precautionary health measures meant to protect passengers and crew members or prior notice, had returned via Doha Airport recently from Iran.
Gulf Air said the measures are in line with national efforts to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and underscored the importance of cooperating with the Kingdom’s health and safety regulations under all circumstances. The airline said it is taking all necessary measures to maintain the health and safety of its staff and airline crew
