NIHR plans to visit quarantine centers
National Institution for Human Rights’ Chairperson Maria Khoury chaired a remote meeting with Vice-chairperson Khaled Alshaer and Head of Detention and Facilities Visitation Committee Malallah Al Hammadi.
They discussed the institution's plans to visit quarantine centers to meet the medical staff and the infected individuals, to ensure that the actions taken are in line with the established international guidelines set out by the World Health Organization (WHO).
NIHR stressed on the importance of the right to health, valuing the great efforts made by the government in ensuring the provision of food, water and health care for all citizens and residents.
