Court sessions, cases to remain limited

Cassation Court president and Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) deputy chairman Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain inspected courts yesterday to assess their work in light of the precautionary measures taken to prevent coronavirus (COVID-19).
Al Buainain announced the continuation of the regulatory procedures followed during the precautionary period, which includes reducing the number of hearings and pending cases, in order to guarantee the protection of public health.
The advisor praised the efforts and cooperation of lawyers in implementing the regulatory measures taken in this regard, stressing the importance of standing together during the challenging times.
Al Buainain stressed the importance of benefiting from the range of online services provided through the national portal of the e-government.
