Recovered COVID-19 cases in Bahrain reaches 423

The number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bahrain reached 423 as of late last night. This was announced by the Ministry of Health. It follows the discharge of an additional 24 patients from isolation and treatment centres, the Ministry said on social media.

According to the Health Ministry’s official website, the total number of active cases was 261, all but three of which were stable. Among the active cases are a pair of Bahraini infants aged just three and four months.

The three-month-old is a boy who tested positive as a contact of two other positive cases, one of whom has already been discharged. The four-month-old is a girl who also tested positive as a contact of two other cases, one of whom has also already recovered. The number of total tested reached 39,379.
