HRH the Premier orders to double social security benefits

His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, has ordered to allocate a budget of BD5.5million to double the value of social security benefits which include 17,000 Bahraini families, which will be disbursed in mid-April.

HRH the Premier also ordered doubling the value of the disability pension, which benefits 12,000 persons with disabilities who are registered in the lists of the Labor and Social Development Ministry.

HRH the Prime Minister’s directives came within the framework of his support for needy families and individuals with special needs on various occasions, including the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, preparations to distribute HRH the Prime Minister’s annual Ramadan gifts have already started, as relevant officials began coordination with charity societies and funds.

A total of 100 tonnes of rice will be distributed to needy Bahraini families, as part of HRH the Prime Minister’s annual Ramadan grants. Representatives of the charity societies and funds extended their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HRH the Premier for his unwavering interest in supporting Bahrain’s citizens and alleviating their burdens.

They paid tribute to HRH the Prime Minister for his success in enhancing Bahrain’s progress in various fields, in addition to his noble gestures towards the citizens on various occasions.

They asserted that HRH the Premier’s kind donations would support needy families during the Holy Month of Ramadan, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless HRH the Prime Minister with abundant health and happiness, and to guide him on the right path for the best interests of Bahrain and its people.
