Three more recovered COVID-19 patients yesterday

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday an additional three patients have recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, but the total recoveries is now less than the number of active cases.
The total number of recovered and discharged cases reached 558 as of last night, according to the Ministry of Health’s website, but the total active cases went to 572. A majority of the new cases were from expatriate labour workers, the Health Ministry said, while the others were from people returning from abroad.
The Ministry of Health assured that all the necessary precautionary and preventive measures were taken after the test results of the new cases were released. According to the Health Ministry’s website, where information is updated multiple times daily, of the 572 active cases, four are critical. There has so far been six deaths related to COVID-19 in Bahrain. The total tested as of last night increased to 63,973
