CBB Sukuk Al-Salam Securities oversubscribed by 233%

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed by 233%.
Subscriptions worth BD 100.272 million were received for the BD 43 million issues, which carries a maturity of 91 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on April 15 and matures on July 15, is 2.30% compared to 2.06 % of the previous issue on March 18.
The Sukuk Al-Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of Bahrain.
This is issue No.228 (BH0001557980) of the short-term Sukuk Al-Salam series.
