HH Shaikh Nasser makes personal donation of BD1million to ‘Feena Khaer’ campaign

His Majesty the King’s Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs representative, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa gave an inspirational message yesterday, during which he announced a BD1million personal donation to the “Feena Khaer” fundraising campaign. In his video message, which was posted on his Instagram account, HH Shaikh Nasser said that the donation is his opportunity to give back to the country as it battles the coronavirus (COVID-19), describing it as “the ultimate way to show love for Bahrain”.

HH Shaikh Nasser called on business owners and anyone who is willing to contribute to the fund to donate any amount they can. He said that it is supporting “the land we call home” at a time when it needs it most. “Every bit goes a long way,” HH Shaikh Nasser said.

Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Nasser underwent a COVID-19 medical examination yesterday as part of the periodic check-up for the Royal Endurance Team and all staff members working with him in various directorates.

HH Shaikh Nasser posted a photo on his Instagram account during the check-up and commented with a greeting to the medical crew. HH Shaikh Nasser paid tribute to the medical team fighting COVID-19 and urged all citizens to undergo periodic check-ups, which will help fight the virus.
