Coordination Committee will continue implementing development projects: HH Shaikh Khalid

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday pledged to continue implementing development projects to achieve further successes in the sports and youth movements in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Bahrain Olympic Committee President was speaking after being named as the new president of the Coordination, Execution and Follow-up Committee “Response” at the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

“I highly regard the trust of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in appointing me as the President of the Response Committee,” said HH Shaikh Khalid, the First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Bahrain Olympic Committee President.

HH added: “I pledge to continue efforts to achieve further successes in the sports and youth movements of the Kingdom of Bahrain.” Looking ahead, Shaikh Khalid said the upcoming period will require expanding mutual collaboration “among various sports entities and continue working with one team spirit”.

“This innovative initiative is a road map for implementing the Reform Programme unveiled by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.” “We look forward to delivering the goals of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 introduced by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier,” HH Shaikh Khalid added.
