Eleven recover, 45 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday 11 recoveries from the coronavirus (COVID-19). They have all been discharged from the dedicated treatment facility.
The Health Ministry also reported 45 new active cases, of which 20 are expatriate workers, another 20 being contacts of active cases, and five being citizens brought home via the International COVID-19 Repatriation Programme.
The total number of discharged patients is now 784, with 1,182 active cases, of which two are critical. The total tested increased to 94,380. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health also revealed that 49 individuals have been taken out of quarantine centres after completing the necessary isolation period and following tests confirming that they are free of COVID-19. To date, 1,384 individuals have left quarantine centres, the ministry said.
