COVID-19 recoveries now over 1,000 after 242 more discharged

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday that 242 individuals have been discharged from treatment facilities following a positive response to the medical care being provided. That increases the total number of recoveries from the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease in Bahrain to 1,026.
That also brings the active cases down to 994, all but two of which are stable. The total tested reached 97,796. The Health Ministry expressed its thanks and gratitude for the crucial contributions of all medical workers providing frontline COVID-19 care, and for their tireless efforts incorporating globally approved treatment protocols set by the World Health Organisation.
