Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism launches www.mall.bh

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism launched yesterday an electronic-mall platform, www. mall.bh, aimed at supporting licensed commercial enterprises to practise e-commerce activities within Bahrain. This was done under the patronage of Industry Minister Zayed R. Alzayani, in light of the current challenges presented by the global spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The e-mall platform is one of the initiatives under the Ministry’s e-commerce national plan, to support enterprises practising e-commerce activities within the Kingdom and to strengthen Bahrain’s e-commerce ecosystem. The e-mall will bring together enterprises that are licensed as e-businesses with an existing e-commerce website or mobile application. The website provides an online payment method as well as delivery services.
The e-platform is designed to support commercial companies and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in expanding their services and activities electronically, contributing to the further development of the national economy. The Ministry encourages interested businesses and SMEs to register via www.mall.bh.
