Registration continues for ‘Distant Yet United’ video contest

Registration continues for a short film competition, under the initiative of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to capture the changing times people are currently witnessing globally. KHK Media Group, in partnership with The Daily Tribune, 4PM and the Ministry of Information Affairs, is inviting entries from all clubs, organizations and creative citizens and residents over the age of 18 years to participate in the competition, which is being held with the theme “Distant Yet United”.
The contest aims to capture the spirit of closeness during Ramadan whilst the country supports the government’s precautionary measures against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). There will be four award categories: People’s Choice, Best Film, Best Acting Performance, and Best Director. Entry is free and a cash pool prize for winners will be given in all four categories. The last day to sign up is April 30. Videos must be sent in mp4 format via www.wetransfer. com to info@khkmediagroup. com. The video should not exceed two minutes and a file size of 1GB. Submissions close on May 20.
