Bahrain Women Union join the KHK Heroes Challenge

Bahrain Women’s Union is the latest charity to take the KHK Heroes Challenge. The Union has committed to deliver KHK food packs to women in hardship across Bahrain. The Bahrain Women Union (BWU) was established in 2001, with the goal to better coordinate the efforts of Bahraini associations working on women’s rights and the position Badreya Almarzooq, President of Bahrain Women Union said, “Bahrain Women Union would like to thank KHK Heroes under the leadership of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the support of supplying food parcels for needy families during this period of Coronavirus Pandemic and Ramadan.”
Bahrain Women Union distributed these baskets to needy families at Sitra Village and some of Budaiya Villages and Isa Town, where the families expressed their gratitude.’ Initiated by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, KHK Heroes has called on the nation for a united cause, helping those most vulnerable during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Public can take part in the challenge by making donations, volunteering time to KHK Heroes or taking up the challenge to post a video online and nominate someone to pay it forward
