Health Ministry announces 92 COVID-19 recoveries

The Health Ministry announced on social media yesterday the recovery of 92 patients from the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease. The individuals have left their dedicated treatment centres and have brought the total number of discharged in Bahrain to 1,310 as of last night, as indicated on the Health Ministry’s official website.
It was also announced by the Ministry yesterday that there were 87 new active cases, 72 of which are expatriate workers and 15 contacts of active cases. All new cases have been transferred to treatment centres and are receiving 24-hour care from special medical teams.
Their discovery has brought the total number of active cases in Bahrain to 1,493, all of whom are stable, with the exception of two. The total number of tested reached 121,706 last night. Meanwhile, the Health Ministry announced the return of stranded Bahrainis from Iran on a Gulf Air-operated flight that was a part of the Kingdom’s International COVID-19 Repatriation Programme.
