Recovered COVID-19 patients up by 145

The Ministry of Health announced yesterday that 145 patients have recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease. The individuals have left their dedicated treatment centres and have brought the total number of discharged in Bahrain to 1,455 as of last night, according to the Health Ministry’s official website.

It was also announced by the Ministry yesterday that there were 110 new active cases, 89 of which are expatriate workers, 19 contacts of active cases, one Bahraini national and another a returning citizen from abroad.

All new cases have been transferred to treatment centres and are receiving 24-hour care from special medical teams. Their discovery has brought the total number of active cases in Bahrain to 1,458, all of whom are stable, except for one. The total number of tested reached 126,905 last night.
