Information minister visits production floors of live programmes

Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi yesterday visited the shooting floors of various live programmes aired during the holy month of Ramadan including that of “Al Sariyah” Quiz show.

The minister took a tour of the production facilities and praised the support of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and Batelco to “Al Sariyah” programme. The show, aired on Bahrain TV every day at 10:30 pm and continues until the third day of Eid Al-Fitr, will give away seven cars and BD100,000 worth of cash prizes.

The programme enjoys the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS).

The minister then visited the team of “Conscious Society” programme and reviewed the coverage of the conclusion of “Feena Khair” (There is Goodness in Us) campaign launched by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The Information Minister pointed out that the royal praise confirms the success of the “Conscious Society” programme in highlighting the developments related to the kingdom’s efforts in combating coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The minister also visited the work team of “You are at Home” programme and praised their efforts to boost motivation among people who are committed to the preemptive measures in fighting COVID-19.

The minister further stressed the tremendous efforts exerted by the national task force, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, which won international praise.

The Information Minister also visited Bahrain Radio Directorate, the News Directorate and Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and met with the employees there.
