COVID-19: Jafferi Endowments hails effort of Team Bahrain

A virtual session held by the Jafferi Endowments Council has hailed the efforts exerted by Team Bahrain to protect citizens and residents’ health and safety during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The meeting chaired by Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh also announced allocating BD100, 000 to the ‘Feena Khair’ campaign. The campaign was launched by His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.

Further, the council announced exempting its tenants from paying the rents for three months, taking into consideration their conditions due to COVID-19.

“The board had endorsed a plan to ease the pressure on tenants and help them overcome the current crisis,” said Jafferi Endowments Council Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh.

The panel hailed national drive to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), in light of royal directives issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, lauding the efforts of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
