HH Shaikh Khalid discusses sports professionalisation law in ‘Response’ meeting

Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) first deputy chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa discussed yesterday the sports professionalisation law and the relevant mechanisms to implement it.
This came as he chaired the weekly virtual meeting of the Coordination, Execution and Follow-up Committee “Response”. HH Shaikh Khalid instructed to prepare studies and visions through which new laws can be formed in an effort to develop the youth and sports sector.
HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed that developing the laws in the sports field would have a positive impact on the youth and sports movement. This will allow Bahraini youth to be proactive and creative amid an environment that supports creativity and innovation, in line with ambitions of His Majesty the King’s Charity Works and Youth Affairs representative, National Security Advisor and SCYS chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The meeting was attended by Parliament’s Constant Awareness Committee for Youth and Sports head MP Abdullah Al Doseri, and Legislation and Official Gazette director at the Legislation and Legal Opinion Authority Consultant Sultan Al Suwaidi, among other officials.
