Three thieves arrested

Three suspects have been arrested for their involvement in the theft of about BD5,000 and jewellery from an apartment, the Ministry of Interior said yesterday.
The Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate director-general reported the arrests of the people, aged between 28 and 33 years old. He explained that upon receiving the report, investigations were carried out, which resulted in identifying and arresting the suspects.
Preliminary information indicated that the arrested persons used a rental car and changed its license plates while committing the crime. The director-general noted that the required legal measures have been taken and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
