HM the King issues decrees

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued yesterday Royal Decree 20/2020, appointing Eman Ahmed Al Dosaari as Commerce Affairs undersecretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

Also under the decree, Shaikh Hamad bin Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was appointed Domestic and Foreign Trade assistant undersecretary at the same ministry.

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism shall implement the decree, which takes immediate effect and will be published in the Official Gazette. HM the King also issued Decree 21/2020 restructuring Bank of Bahrain’s (CBB) Board of Directors.

Under Article One, the board comprises Hassan Khalifa Al Jalahma as chairman and Rasheed Mohamad Al Maraj, Yousef Abdullah Humoud, Khaled Ibrahim Humaidan, Youssef Abdulhussain Khalaf, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, and Ahmed Mohamed Buhejji as members.

The board members are appointed for a renewable four-year term. The decree is effective from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.

HM the King issued Decree 22/2020 yesterday, renewing the appointment of Rasheed Mohamed Al Maraj as Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor for five years. The CBB Board of Directors chairman shall implement the decree, which takes immediate effect and will be published in the Official Gazette.
