‘Feena Khair’ committee holds first meeting

The total financial contributions of the “Feena Khair” national campaign has reached more than $100million. This was discussed during the campaign’s first Coordination Committee meeting, held yesterday and chaired by Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) secretary-general and committee head Dr Mustafa Al Sayed.
The number of individual contributors reached more than 40,000 with more than 500 Institutions donating. This illustrates an outstanding image of community-giving and cohesion, said the committee.
During the virtual conference, the committee praised HM the King’s Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs representative, National Security Advisor and RHF Board of Trustees chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for launching the “Feena Khair” initiative.
The committee members also lauded the great response shown by citizens, residents, companies and institutions to the campaign. The members also reviewed the objectives of the national campaign and the tasks assigned to the committee and beneficiaries.
