Supreme Council for Women in solidarity push

The “Moutakatifeen” (In Solidarity) campaign continues providing support to Bahraini women and families, in cooperation with the National Taskforce for Combatting COVID-19 and the e-Volunteer platform.
The field campaign was launched following directives from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president.
The SCW is carrying out the nationwide drive under the theme “For the Safety of Bahrain”, supported by partners from the public and private sectors and civil society as well as leading personalities.
SCW executive mangament supervises the field campaign, which engages registered volunteers, Bahrain scouts and guides, and other parties.
The campaign targets divorced women, widows, abandoned wives as well as married or unmarried women who support themselves and first-degree relatives, retired female employees, pregnant employees, lactating women, mothers of under-10 children and others suffering from pulmonary diseases, lack of immunity, chronic diseases, people with physical disabilities, and other categories.
