Southern Governor chairs security meeting

Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa chaired yesterday the meeting of the security committee, which was held via a video conference. The virtual session was attended by officers representing different security agencies.
HH Shaikh Khalifa hailed the fruitful cooperation and coordination between security agencies and the Southern Governorate to set up facilities for expatriate workers.
He followed up on the police preparations for the last 10 days of the Holy Month of Ramadan to ensure commitment to precautionary measures and enforce the ban on public gatherings.
He stressed cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic to ensure the smooth flow in key avenues in the Southern Governorate and commended the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence (CID) on initiatives to enhance social awareness.
